Type designation:

Circuit breaker operates using arc extinguishing principle of short circuit in SF6 chamber. Operating mechanism is spring motor, type СТ30. 

Main characteristics of circuit breaker:  

  •  high short circuit arc extinguishing capacity, 
  • low power consumption, 
  • high reliability.

Operating conditions:

Normal operating conditions shall meet the requirements of  GB11022-99 («General technical requirements for high voltage switchgear and controlgear) namely:

  1. Ambient temperature:
    Design. I: −40°С~+40°С;
    Design. II: −45°С~+40°С;
    Design. II: −60°С~+40°С*.
  2. Altitude above sea level <2500 m.
  3. Wind speed: 34 m/sec.
  4. Daily temperature difference: 25°.
  5. Ice thickness: 10 mm (20 mm).
  6. Installation: outdoor.
  7. Creepage distance: III class 25 mm/kV; IV class 31 mm/kV.

Circuit breaker design

Design:  3 porcelain poles-phases for outdoor installation on CB frame with stands. Three-phase spring operating mechanism is installed in the box of circuit breaker located in the center. Circuit breaker is filled with SF6 gas and has the main function of arc extinguishing in SF6 medium. SF6 density control device is used to control density and pressure of SF6. Due to improved energy storage efficiency and optimization of kinetic system of circuit-breaker the mechanical efficiency of CB is improved and power consumption is decreased.
